Terms of use
LAST UPDATED 1 SEPTEMBER 2026
Punzisa AI for Teachers is a free professional-learning programme. These terms describe what you can expect from it, and what we expect from you.
What this is — and is not
This is an independent professional-learning programme. It is not accredited by the Teaching Council of Zambia, and it does not represent TCZ endorsement. The certificate you can earn is a Punzisa certificate of completion: it records that you finished this course, and it is not a formal teaching qualification.
Do not present it as accreditation, and be careful of anyone who tells you it is.
It is free
The whole course and the certificate are free. We do not ask for payment details, there is no paid tier, and nobody should ever ask you to pay for access. If someone does, it is not us.
Your account
Use a real email address you can reach, keep your password to yourself, and do not share your account. What is done through your account is treated as done by you.
One account per teacher. Your certificate carries your name, so an account in someone else's name makes the certificate worthless.
Using AI responsibly
This course teaches you to use AI tools in your teaching. Those tools state things that are wrong, confidently. Everything this course teaches rests on one rule: AI drafts, the teacher decides. Check what it produces against your syllabus before it reaches your learners.
Do not put identifiable information about your pupils into AI tools or into work you submit here. Use invented or anonymised examples. This matters most for anything about a named child's performance, behaviour or circumstances.
What you write stays yours
Lesson plans, assignments and capstone work you create remain yours. We store them to run the course, show you your own progress, and assess your capstone. We may describe the programme using aggregate figures — how many teachers finished a module, for instance — but not by publishing your work or your name without asking you first.
Availability
This is an early platform run on a small budget. It may be unavailable, lose features, or change while you are part-way through. We will try not to lose your progress, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service, and the course is provided as it is, without warranty.
Ending it
You can stop at any time and ask us to delete your account — see the privacy page. We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the platform, to abuse other people, or to create accounts automatically.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that affects you, we will update this page and the date at the top of it. Continuing to use the platform after that means the updated terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Zambia.

This page describes how the platform works today. It is written in plain language rather than legal language, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Where it is wrong, the behaviour of the platform is what counts, and we will correct the page.
